Sign The Petition

WE PETITION THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO:

calls upon the People's Republic of China to put an end to its repression in Tibet as demonstrated by the ongoing unrest

I am writing this letter to draw your kind attention to the tense situation in Tibet due to the Chinese authorities’ increased restriction in the wake of a series of self-immolation by Tibetans in Ngaba Tibetan region.
These acts by Tibetans to self-immolate are signs of increasing sense of desperation on account of continued denial of freedom by the Chinese government, including in matters of religious freedom. The situation is certainly made worse by the lack of any positive response by China to His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s effort to find a genuine and lasting solution to the Tibetan issue for the mutual benefit of the Tibetans and Chinese people.
I would like urge you to immediately call on the Chinese Government to withdraw all restrictive measures in Tibetan areas.
The above petition is created by Mr. Tashi K from Seattle,WA on october 12

Gyalyum Chenmo Memorial Cup "Tibetan World Cup In Exile"..

Final ceremony in Bylakuppe 2010
The tibetan World Cup in exile is what we call as GCM,which is held in the memorial of His Holiness the Dalai Lama's Mother Gyalyum Chenmo is the yearly much awaited biggest soccer tournament for the tibetan people living in various parts of India. It is organised by Tibetan National Sports Association, is played every year. The hype and popularity of this event is at its peak amongst the tibetan youngsters.Clementown FC won the last GCM Cup which was held at Bylakuppe by defeating Mungod FC in a penalty shootout.Last year 18 teams from Tibetan settlements across India and Nepal competed for the cup and also a team from Canada, the first team outside India to take part in the tournament other than Nepal.

Is this the year of The Great Noisy Neighbours????

Manchester City started the premiere league season with a thumping 4-0 win over Swansea. The biggest relief for the city fans is the new striker Aguero firing all cylinders in the very first match by scoring two goals and a assist. Hence the Noisy neighbours which are titled to the Manchester City Football Club are now indeed becoming noisy and why not the kind of start to their season kick off. 35 years without trophy which ended last season by holding the FA Cup promises to be a starting point for the Blues and why not so, they defeated their arch rivals in the semis of the FA Cup.

Roberto Mancini officially had made announcement that two more quality players will be joining city before the end of the transfer season.Samir Nasri as well as Wesley Sneider are being liked with and one cant stand by the fact that city do have the money power to buy both the players by the end of this transfer window thus we can expect many more from city indeed this season. But the main question is "Can City win the Trophies"?
